Compensation & Benefit Surveys

HR Foundations was founded by a nationally recognized compensation expert (Dr. Jerry M Newman of the University at Buffalo School of Management). The firm has conducted a WNY total compensation survey every year since 1999. Major employers in the Buffalo-Niagara area have come to depend on the survey report as the only consistent and local source for compensation planning data.

It is essential to monitor and benchmark your company’s pay policies for competitiveness. To do this you need local and current wage and benefit information.

The results of compensation and benefits surveys will assist you to:

  • determine your position in the local employment market
  • attract and retain employees with competitive compensation and benefits
  • make informed decisions about pay practices and change in base pay policies
  • identify issues of external market or internal pay equity
